Billing, testing and reporting for laboratories

A new counter for the lab you already run.

Telo is a billing, testing and reporting layer that sits on your existing LIS database. The counter, the bench, client accounts and reports get a modern screen. Your records stay exactly where they are.

Built and run daily inside a laboratory network in north India.

Telo dashboard for a collection centre: revenue, collected, outstanding and patients billed today, with a seven day revenue chart

Telo writes to the tables your LIS already uses.Nothing migrates.Every row it writes carries its origin.

The counter

One screen from patient to printed bill. Rates come from the client’s rate list, discounts follow the lab’s policy, and payment can split across cash, UPI and card.

  1. Register

Patient, referring doctor and tests on one form. The catalogue is searched by code or name and prices itself from the centre’s rate list.

  2. Review

A two-step confirm shows the whole order before anything is written: client, patient, tests, discount, what is being collected.

    Review screen
  3. Bill

The bill number is allocated once, under a lock, and the receipt prints on the spot. Refunds, voids and discount edits stay on the record.

  4. Worklist

Registrations waiting for sample IDs sit on a live worklist. Scan the tube, the order moves on.

From the counter to the bench.

The visit does not stop at the bill. Telo runs the testing side of the lab as well: worksheets, result entry and authorisation, and the report is built from what the bench signed.

Workbench
Worksheets by department and machine. Results are entered against ranges resolved to the patient’s age, out of range values are flagged as you type, and a reviewer authorises before anything is released.

Reporting
Authorised results become the report at once: on letterhead, as a PDF, or as a soft copy link for the patient. Lab reports cover bills, collections and test sales by client and period.

Client accounts

Referral labs and collection centres place their own orders, see their own wallet, and pay online. Reports stay held while a client is over its credit limit, and release the moment it is settled.

  • Per-client rate lists and invoice branding
  • Wallet ledger with credit allowance
  • Online payment that posts straight to the ledger
  • Report lock that mirrors the LIS rule

Reports that print the way your lab prints

Search releasable results, preview the formatted report, and download it on the lab’s letterhead. Patients get a soft copy link with a QR code on the bill.
